WALK AND TALK FROM CARERS SUPPORT

The aim of our 'walk & talk' service is to improve carers' health and wellbeing by getting some gentle exercise, being outside in nature and connect with other carers. The groups run over 6 weeks for carers aged 16+ and they take place in a green space within their community.

The walking groups are led by an experienced support worker, who chat with carers offering information and advice with any issues they might be experiencing in their caring role and signposting them to other organisations for support.

We are starting two 'walk & talk' groups in S. Glos this Autumn, so if you would like to have more information or to book a place, please contact Stacey, our walk leader, on 07742 291073 or email her on walk@carerssupportcentre.org.uk
